RFACTOR 2 MODS MOD
I’m looking forward to the development of this mod for rFactor 2, and let’s hope this mod doesn’t take 8 years. That reminds me of how the CTDP put all that effort into their 2006 F1 mod, to recreate all the changes to the cars, over the course of a season. They will be tweaking the car to replicate it as it was run during different venues. They have started work on the Interpid RM1, as raced in 1991. This will be a heavy duty project that they are undertaking, making for some extensive authenticity. Now, they have announced their first project for rFactor 2: Sportscars Unlimited. The mod replicated the Group C Prototypes era, with nearly sixty cars and 400+ liveries. Virtua_LM’s Junior Team recently released the long awaited LMPC mod for rFactor, after eight years of development.

This new release includes the BMW Z4 GT3, as well as the 854, which is based off the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 race car. Let’s take a look at what’s in development! Apex Modding GT3 – 0.9 ReleasedĪpex Modding has been hard at work, improving their GT3 mod, and they have released version 0.9 of the rFactor 2 mod. If more cars like the Toyota Celica GTO IMSA are released, we likely have a bright future ahead of us for rFactor 2.

Now that rFactor 2 is becoming a more stable sim racing platform, we are starting to see more and more mods in development.
